Quantum Break Tech Analyis: PC Version Better Than Xbox One, But Still Disappointing

Digital Foundry has just published an article comparing Xbox One and Windows 10 PC versions of Quantum Break, and, despite underlining the differences betweet those two releases, it remarks the game on PC is pretty much “disappointing”.

Quantum Break

There are in fact “major performance and quality issues”, although Xbox One Quantum Break stops at medium preset on PC. LOD isn’t affected much regardless of your settings, while PC version’s most noticeably boosts are increased volumetric lighting quality and shadow resolution.

Quantum Break is now available for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, and the latter version is largely said not to be up to people’s expectations, lacking features and not providing a great sense of stability at all even on powerful machines.

How does this compare to the sequel, Groove City? I completely loved that game on Wii U, but have not purchased this on that system because they took out the potty language.
