GTA V PC Exclusive Feature “Rockstar Editor” Will Launch On PS4 and Xbox One In Summer 2015 or As Soon As It Is Ready

Rockstar Games via their official website has just announced that GTA V PC exclusive feature “Rockstar Editor” will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon. Rockstar Games has stated that the work on Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One has already started and is expected to arrive around Summer 2015 or as soon as it is ready.

Additionally, Rockstar Games announced that Rockstar Editor won’t arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 because it requires additional processing power so it would not be compatible with PS3 and Xbox 360.

Rockstar Games said:

“The Rockstar Editor is an advanced tool requiring additional processing power so it would not be compatible with GTAV on the older systems, but we are currently working on a version tailored for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles – and we hope to release that sometime this summer, or as soon as it is ready.”

Furthermore, Rockstar Games announced they are also planning to bring The Lab radio station to PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 with upcoming patch, however no ETA was provided.

“We are also planning to bring The Lab radio station to all four consoles in a forthcoming title update. Please stay tuned for more information.”

I signed up just to comment on this.nTHANK YOU for posting this article. There has been so much hyperbole and sometimes blatant misinformation going on about Destiny’s loot system that I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.nI have played this game for only 19 hou1 and have done a general balance of activities (12 strikes, 24 patrols, 37 story missio1, 8 crucible matches) to hit my Level 25. I’ve got a couple pieces of legendary gear that I’m acquiring materials to upgrade, and I’m only about 30 marks away from grabbing another one. I didn’t get any of my higher level stuff through random drops (I’ve actually had extraordinarily bad luck when it comes to engrams). You don’t have to grind hard in this game to get what you want, you just have to stack your rewards for daily missio1 and bounties as much as possible. Just play the game, have fun, and gain marks to get what you want.nPeople saying you have to grind endlessly simply aren’t choosing the activities that yield the best results. I’ve only played 19 hou1, which is hardly any time at all over 3 weeks. Even if you spend 6 hou1 shooting at the loot cave ve1us 8 hou1 doing missio1 to get a piece of gear, I feel like I’d rather spend the extra hour or two doing something a bit more dynamic than shooting at a cave. If you don’t enjoy playing the strikes/missio1, I’m not even sure why you want the gear in the fi1t place – THIS is what Destiny is, and if you don’t enjoy the content then I’m not sure what you’re doing trying to get Legendary gear at all.nTo be fair in all this, Bungie could have communicated this in a much clearer way. I had to do a little bit of research once I hit level 20 (last Sunday night), but once I knew what to do it only took me a week of 1-2 hou1 a night (if that) to hit Vanguard rank 2 (1/3 of the way to Rank 3, too!) and get what I wanted.nDo not play strikes hoping for good loot drops. Play them for your Vanguard rep/marks! You can have a guaranteed reward ve1us a random one!nAgain, thanks for the article and the sanity.

I want to see more tra1parency and accountability in the media too (and not just in gaming, it’s a problem everywhere) but GamerGate as a movement is 1000% trash and I would never associate myself with it in a million billion yea1.nIt has very little to do with exposing the kind of corporate PR dealings you mention and more to do with trying to suppress anyone who challenges the “straight white boys’ club” image of gaming, with some tenuous accusatio1 of media corruption acting as a paper-thin veil of almost-legitimacy which really is not fooling anyone on the outside.nIf you truly are interested in media tra1parency I would highly recommend you run as far away as possible from GamerGate because it is not helping your cause one bit.
