Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 were more or less the only games where Map Pack DLC was hyped and respected. It died off for CoD but for every map pack for Halo 3, there was huge hype.nI was okay with it because the maps had real depth and extremely tight design, and more importantly (for me), added optio1 for Forge mode. I was a part of a community that built racing maps for Halo 3, I forget its name now. It arose after Bungie removed Rocket Race, the greatest game mode of all time. So many great memories playing Halo 3, I don’t think any game will ever match it. The community was bad in spots (but with a lot of good, like any community) but it was the game that made it amazing.
