Adam Boyes Details How PlayStation Began The New Home For Call Of Duty Black Ops III, The Game Feels “Incredible”

Among E3 2015 biggest announcements, we surely find Call of Duty reaching an end to the timed exclusive agreement with Microsoft and bracing the PlayStation side of console war. With Black Ops III missing the Xbox media briefing, it wasn’t a mystery that the game and entire franchise were going to be part of the PlayStation press conference in Los Angeles.

Anyway, there’s still something we’ve not been told, when it comes to how the new relationship between Activision and Sony, that were already working together for Destiny, actually developed. PlayStation VP of Publisher & Developer Relations Adam Boyes explained this to GameSpot:

“Well, I think the first thing was we’ve had a great relationship with Activision around Destiny. And I’m a huge fan of that.”

This relationship will start with Call of Duty Black Ops III, bringing all the add-ons to the games first on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. How’s the game shaping up, according to Boyes?

“As soon as I started playing it, I said, ‘This feels incredible! You can wallride!’ It’s just so smooth; it’s almost like poetic. And so obviously, we just continued talking with our partners at Activision and worked something out. And now we’ve got I think a great benefit to all the gamers.”

There will be also a multiplayer beta for Treyarch’s first-person shooter and of course it will be coming first on PlayStation, later on Xbox and PC, to see how Black Ops III is getting ready to face the horde of gamers that will invade those servers from day one.

Are Activision and Call of Duty getting a true benefit from leaving Xbox and bracing PlayStation with Black Ops III? Discuss this topic in the comments below.
