Radar Festival calls for Mac-made music videos

Apple is supporting this year’s Radar music video festival.

The Radar Festival is a music video festival that is open to filmmakers of all ages. To enter the competition, they must make a music video for a track drawn from a shortlist including the likes of Groove Armada and Franz Ferdinand. Entries must be created using Macs and Apple software, the deadline for entries is August 31.

Music partners include Domino Records, Warp Records and Tummy Touch Records. Winning videos will be screened on label websites and at the festival. Festival winners will get commissioning, cash and music prizes and the overall winner gets coveted representation by multi award-winning production company Colonel Blimp.

More information is available on the festival website.

The festival screens to press and public at Apple’s Regent Street Store theatre in September, 2006.
